Glam in boots

It is not a secret that winter is upon us, coming hand in hand with the celebration season. But all we want to do is look gorgeous while still staying warm. So here I will be giving some ideas and do's and don'ts about how to pull of glamorous look in boots.
It is fairly easy to make glam look with the classic neutrally colored under-the-knee length boot, but what to do if you are simply tired of matching those with dresses and looking usual? Take it easy, there are so many different type of boots that can still fully support your need of glam look.

The Ankle Boot
Let's start with don'ts - Capri pants, skirts or dresses that hit below the knee, especially if you have shapely calves.
Do remember to wear them with tights in a matching or skin color. Miniskirts in this situation is the best choice for glam look. Try to incorporate this seasons so trendy military trend using blazer and don't forget to add a pop of color to your outfit.

The Mid-Calf Boot
Don't pair with a knee-length skirt because this style splits your calves at the widest part of the muscle, making your legs look big.
Do pair with a shorter hemline to create leg length. You can try wearing it with shorts for interesting spin. Just choose the style of mid-calf boot that you like and don't forget accessories that shine.

Colorful Boot
Don't try to be over the top with intricate designs.
If you want to look glam instead of trashy, try simple silhouettes. If you hate black, match your colors. The trick here is not to forget to think about textures. Nothing is supposed to stand out here, all the pieces should compliment each other.

Chunky Wedge Boot
Don't forcefully try to make your look sleek and classy, it will never happen with chunky wedge boots.
Do opt for interesting, imaginative look, that will turn heads. Be creative and pair them up with long, slit skirt. Add unique arm cuffs and stand-out clutch.
