Autumn/winter 2012/2013 trends

Yet again new season is here and new trends coming in. Some old ones still stick with us but this season designers are keen on fresh start.

Intricate design
For fashionistas that are not fond of colour splashes but still love to stand out, the offer is graphic silhouette. Introduce intricate designs even in working girls outfit. Keep it sleek, classy and simple. And don't forget to add this season's so popular cross accessory.

Oversized
One of the hits this season - oversized things, most popular ones of course are coats. Any print and any colour. They are comfortable and new. You can accessorize them with reptile print bag and for fall walks in the park - super-trendy piece now - a hat.

Velvet
This long forgotten fabric is definitely making a comeback. While long evening dresses and blazers is the most obvious choice, this fabric is still a versatile one and can appear even in pants that you wear to catch up with friends for a casual after work cocktail. Pair it up with a jumper, heels and trendy leather clutch.

Leather
Leather is everywhere right now. Leather jackets, leather pants leather tops and even leather dresses. Those are the most interesting when combined with other fabrics giving you that sexy yet modest look. Adding some rose accessories will give you that luxurious and feminine look for any evening event.

Belts
For the ones that can go to work dressed as they desire, designers offer tribute to films about 50's - big skirt and accentuated waist silhouette. There is no better way to emphasize it than using belts. This season you can put them on anything, starting with dresses and ending with coats. And if it comes in a shape of a bow, you are definitely the most stylish one.

Jewellery on a dress
This season sewing jewellery on a dress is very popular, so you might think that there is no need to think about accessorizing. On the contrary, to make this detail work you really have to think a lot about your accessories or to be more precise how to blend them with your dress. One option is to choose accessories as close to the colour of your dress as possible or try bringing lots of colours and emphasizing jewelled embroidery.

Knitwear
Winter is approaching and thankfully this season designers like knits that keep us warm. Take your favourite cardi-coat, pair it up with jumpsuit and don't be afraid to add another big trend - bright coloured bag.

Black
Black is back and here to stay. There is no better way to be stylish this season that to be black from head to toes. Create any image you want and play with textures and layers, just make sure you follow the rule - less is more.

Peplum
It came in last year and designers are still keeping it. Although we mostly enjoy wearing it for work and cocktail, peplum can be very casual as well. Grab your favourite pair of jeans, put a peplum jacket and accessorize it with fur. And I mean it - fur is everywhere this season, including bags.

Gothic
Goth inspired pieces this season are rich and sophisticated. Although if you want to pull off this look you will have to go goth from head to toe adding lots of glam and gems. Don't forget this seasons so popular collar as well.

Gloves
Going for sexy retro look in winter, don't forget to get warm as glows are the "IT" accessory now. And what stresses this look better than a brooch and a cape? BTW both pretty huge right now as well.

Plaid
Plaid is still big and everywhere in clothes and accessories. It looks warm, winter appropriate giving you that organized look. Although what you did not know this season, is that you can go crazy and mix it up with other season trends like prints, fur and winter white colour to emphasize how fresh and new you can look.

Oriental
When you put on oriental inspired piece it is sure one of the sexiest outfits you have ever worn. And this season designers offer accessories made of giant shards of crystal that go so well together with high heels and tiny clutches - another hit of winter collections.

Military
This style has been on and off for a while and now it is big again. This season designers really like to make it classy. It always looks good with another trend - roomy oversized bag and some edgy accessories.

Multicoloured mosaic print
Any multicoloured mosaic or art print you can get hold of is in trend. Can't say it is something new, but sure brightens an autumn day. Add classy pumps and shoulder bag and take yourself for a fashionable walk.

Rich and regal with glitter
Everything that associates with words "rich and regal" will do here. Fabrics, silhouettes, colours or even all of it together, and of course don't forget to top it up with tiara. Only winter can take such a heavy load of rich fabrics and heavy glitter. Now it is up to you how to use it.
